Company Info

Company Info is the identity card for your inspection business — name, logo, office address, support contact, branding colors, and a few integration settings. Most of what shows up on report PDFs, emails, and client portals starts here. This article documents Company Info specifically. For the broader Business Operations page (CompanySettings) which adds the public booking slug, PWA logo, and review links, see Company Settings.

When you use it

  • First-week setup — fill out your full company identity
  • Annual review — refresh address, phone, support email
  • Rebranding — update logo and theme color
  • License renewal — refresh license numbers
After setup, Company Info rarely changes. Most fields cascade into the rest of the platform: PDF report headers, contract templates, email signatures, the client portal.

Screen layout

[SCREENSHOT: company-info-page.png — desktop, the Company Info page with sections for Company Name, Company Logo, Office Address, Support Email, Calendar integration, and PWA Theme Color.] The page is a single scrollable form with several stacked sections, each with a label and one or more inputs.

Required fields

These show up everywhere — fill them in completely.

Company Name

FieldNotes
Company NamePlaceholder: “Your Company Name”. Appears in report headers, emails, the client portal, and contracts as $CompanyName.
FieldNotes
Company LogoUpload a PNG or SVG. Recommended size: 400 × 120 px, transparent background.
The logo appears:
  • In the header of every PDF report
  • In client-facing email communications
  • On the client signing portal
  • As the $CompanyLogo token wherever it’s referenced
For best results, use a transparent-background PNG or an SVG. Logos with white backgrounds get awkward on colored email headers.

Office Address

FieldRequiredNotes
Street AddressPlaceholder: “Street Address”
City
State
ZIP
The office address is used in:
  • Contract documents ($CompanyAddress token)
  • The bottom of email templates (return address)
  • The Federal-mandated business-address line on TREC reports
  • The footer of the report PDF
Some inspectors use a P.O. Box for privacy — that’s fine; the field is free-text.

Support Email

FieldNotes
Support EmailPlaceholder: support@yourcompany.com. Used as the Reply-To address on outgoing emails.
Setting this correctly means client replies come to you rather than to a no-reply address. Most inspectors use their main business email (info@, hello@, or their own name@).

Branding fields

PWA Theme Color

FieldNotes
PWA Theme ColorHex value, e.g. #1e40af. Controls the browser-tab color and the PWA icon background when clients install the web app to their phone home screen.
Default: a royal blue. Match your brand — clients see this color in their mobile browser bar after they install the PWA from the client portal.

Calendar integration

If your tenant has Google Calendar OAuth enabled, the Company Info page surfaces a section for managing the connection.
ElementPurpose
Connect buttonInitiates the OAuth flow
Connected statusShows the connected Google account and the scope: “calendar.events (read/write access for auto-booking)“
DisconnectRemoves the OAuth token
When connected, the Order Creation Wizard can check inspector availability against the Google Calendar, and confirmed orders auto-create calendar events.

License number

Many TREC-compliant templates require an inspector license number on every report. If your template uses $InspectorLicense, configure the inspector’s license per-inspector under their User profile (separate from Company Info).
Operator-level license: if your business has a master license number distinct from any individual inspector’s license, you may have a $CompanyLicense field here. Check your template’s variable references.

Saving

The Company Info page uses explicit save. Click Save at the bottom of the form. A spinner shows during the save:
Saving…
On success, a confirmation banner. Changes apply immediately to:
  • New report PDFs generated after the save
  • New emails sent after the save
  • The client portal
Existing published reports keep their snapshot — they don’t retroactively update. If you change your logo and want the new logo on a previously-published report, regenerate that report from Inspection Reviewer.
